JUNIOR CHALLENGE EVENT REMINDER

JUNIOR CHALLENGE

WONTHELLA BOWLING CLUB are conducting a Junior Challenge Event over the Easter Weekend.

A combined coaching and competitive programme has been arranged.

This event has been made possible by a grant from BowlsWA through the “Have a Go”promotion for the development of Junior Bowlers.

All Clubs and Upper Schools within the Northern Bowling Zone along with Kalbarri have been notified of the event and with the support of clubs and the high schools promoting this event the Wonthella Bowling Club hope it will become a platform for Juniors in the Northern Zone.

All bowlers,whether it is your child or your grandchild encourage this age group to come along for this great experience.

 RESULTS OF MENS COUNTRY WEEK 040310

Semi Finals for the Men's Country Week Pairs is set with Keith Preston and Ian Young from Wagin to play against Eddie Dodd and Henry (wog) Slawinski from Wonthella.

In the Other Semi Final Geoff (nugget) Whyatt and Robbie Whitford from Eaton are to play Jim McElroy and Brian Butcher from Collie.

　

The Men's Country Week Fours Semi Finals have been set to be played tomorrow morning.

In the first semi final we will see Eddie Dodd from Wonthella with his team of Henry Slawinski, Tony O'Brien and Gary Preston play against Harry Gayfer, Steve Sloan, Clifton Crombie and Mark Szczencinski from Corrigin.
